Lady Comets wrestling is headed back to State this year. Congrats to DeeDee Higgins for become District Champion and stamping her ticket to State. Another congrats to TerryAnn Garrey for taking 4th at Districts and stamping her ticket as well to State.

Shouts to Journi Reese, Zion Edmons, Aniyah Story, and Treasure Terry for also putting forth a huge effort even though may not have made it to State still put forth a tremendous effort. Congrats to Head Coach James Marlock and Coaches Parker, Yance, Martin, and Dennis for all the work that they have put in this season.

Big shout out to Moriah Coleman for putting up 52 points on Senior night. Congrats to her, Cheyenne Reid, and Jessica Reynolds on a great Senior year.

Congrats to the McCluer Army JROTC Comet Battalion for earning an 89% on their recertification with ROTC Board. Congrats to Col. Gray and the program.

Big Comet win tonight over the Troy Buchanan Trojans 51-49. Keep up this momentum as the Comets take on Granite City Thursday at home at 5:30.

On Saturday our Comets Pommie team lead by Coach Wesley Stewart competed in the Yvonne Cole Dance Team Competition at Lindbergh High School. And the Comets earned 3rd place in the Game Dag category. Let’s give them a big congratulations.

It’s Prom 2025, Congrats to this year’s King and Queen!

Yesterday our band director Daniel Lewis was able to take 32 McCluer band students to perform at the first annual STL City Music Festival at Grand Center Arts Academy.

We are so proud of the students. They performed on stage and then got a short clinic from a university band director. The students played great and they were attentive and respectful during the clinic.

Great job to our marching Comets.

We celebrated and Dr. Ebner’s advisory class with some delicious local custard from Fritz's Frozen Custard. Dr. Ebner’s advisory class has consistently achieved perfect attendance for the 2nd semester- what an amazing accomplishment!

Thank you to Fritz’s for generously donating our tasty treat! The kids really enjoyed their custard!
