Look what our fantastic BOOSTERS bought for GALACTIC. Thank you, Boosters! Wonder what the first message will say when we return in August?!? Any guesses?

Recently our 5th graders had an amazing opportunity to visit the Health Occupations program at Central high school! Students got hands-on experience learning about different medical skills and careers from the incredible high school students (Naelene, Gabby, Tailur, and Obrionna) who guided them throughout the experience.

Our students worked with “patients” using medical mannequins, practiced drawing blood, learned about patient care, and even tried suturing techniques! It was such an engaging and memorable experience that gave them a glimpse into the medical field and the importance of teamwork, compassion, and problem-solving in healthcare.

This beautiful quilt made by the fifth grade Sew What Next classes will be put on silent auction at GALACTIC’s Wednesday night’s project night from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.

Pianos for People Has gifted a wonderful piano to our GALACTIC program! The students and Ms. Lewis are excited to share their musical expressions with everyone!
