Celebrating the leaders who help North Tech thrive!

During School Administrators Month, we’re proud to recognize Principal Emanuel Young and Assistant Principal Rachel Haywood for the leadership, dedication, and care they bring to our school community each day.

From building relationships and supporting collaboration to navigating challenges and creating opportunities for growth, their leadership helps keep our school focused on what matters most: helping every student learn, grow, and succeed.

Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and families. We’re proud to celebrate you!

Rollers may be old school, but knowing how to use them is still part of learning your way around a salon. 💇 Our Cosmetology students have been practicing roller sets at Tech and putting other skills to work outside the classroom by providing manicure services at salons and events like Our Second Act, inc's Spa Day. Students get plenty of hands-on practice as they complete the training required to sit for their Missouri Cosmetology License after graduation.

Love doing hair, make-up, nails, and skincare? You can start learning the professional side of cosmetology while you are still in high school. ✂️ Applications are now open! Learn more here: https://northtech.ssdmo.org/programs/cosmetology

Ever wonder how a solid piece of metal becomes a part that fits exactly where it is supposed to? Our Precision Machining students learn to make those parts themselves, using machines like these to cut and shape metal to exact measurements.

These are skills used across advanced manufacturing, including at Boeing, one of our program's industry partners. Students get to start building them right here at Tech. Applications are now open! ⚙️

Our North Tech Fire/EMT students have a new piece of equipment to train on thanks to the O'Fallon Fire Protection District! 🚒

The department donated a 2002 E-One fire truck to the North Tech Firefighting & EMT program, giving students the opportunity to learn and practice on the equipment used in the field. That means even more as they prepare for careers in emergency services.

Thank you to the O'Fallon Fire Protection District for investing in our future first responders! 🔥
