A day of discovery, hands-on learning, and future possibilities! 📚👷🚚⭐️

Ackerman’s annual Career Day gave our students the chance to learn about a wide variety of careers and post-secondary opportunities. Students explored vehicles and equipment, met Pearl the sheep and Mabel the cow, made clicker fidgets, sampled products from Andy’s Seasoning, toured an Amazon truck, and connected with professionals from throughout our community.

Career Day helps students discover their interests, ask questions, try something new, and begin thinking about what their futures could hold. A huge thank you to the businesses, organizations, SSD staff, and community members who helped create such a memorable day for our students!
