This Juneteenth, SSD recognizes and honors the history, resilience, and contributions of African Americans and the lasting significance of this day in our nation’s history.

SSD’s FACE (Family and Community Engagement) encourages families to take advantage of the many educational and affordable opportunities our community has to offer this summer. When students visit places like the Zoo, Art Museum, or Science Center, they experience things that cannot be replicated in a classroom.
