Long before they write their names, little hands have important work to do. ✏️💛

Picking up each piece, matching colors, and placing them with care help our little learners practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and focus. 🌈

At UCELC, purposeful play creates opportunities to explore, build confidence, and celebrate those “I did it!” moments. ✨

The cost of quality education should not stop a family from exploring its options. UCELC accepts several funding and scholarship programs, including School Readiness, VPK, eligible Step Up scholarships and Thrive by 5.

Eligibility and award decisions are made by each funding organization, but our team can help families understand which documentation or next step may apply.

Send us FUNDING for program information.

Fire safety begins with everyday habits. During Fire Prevention Week, UCELC students are learning age-appropriate ways to recognize danger, follow adult instructions and respond safely during an emergency.

Families can continue the conversation at home by reviewing exits, smoke alarms and safe charging habits together.

Behind every confident learner is a teacher who noticed the small breakthrough, encouraged one more attempt and believed before the child believed in themselves.

On World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the educators who bring patience, knowledge, creativity and heart into every UCELC classroom.

Thank you for helping our students Learn, Lead, Inspire and Succeed. 💚💜

Families, leave a message below for a UCELC teacher who has made a difference for your child.

Scissor skills are so much more than learning how to cut. ✂️💚

When young children practice using scissors, they are strengthening the small muscles in their hands, improving hand-eye coordination, developing bilateral coordination, and learning how to control their movements with greater precision.

These same skills later support important everyday and academic tasks like writing, drawing, buttoning clothes, using utensils, and completing classroom activities independently.

At UCELC, hands-on experiences like these turn simple classroom moments into opportunities for growth, confidence, and independence.

Little hands. Big skills. One cut at a time. ✂️✨
