It was the perfect weekend mixing business with pleasure—and, most importantly, moving my son into Stanford for graduate school! ❤️
I spent a beautiful day exploring the stunning campus in Stanford, CA. Set on an incredible 8k acres, the University is home to approximately 7,300 undergraduate and 10,000 graduate students. It is organized into seven schools, with undergraduate students studying across a wide range of disciplines, including the most popular such as Computer Science, Economics, Human Biology, Symbolic Systems, and Engineering.
Campus life is vibrant, with more than 600 student organizations, 36 varsity and 50 club sports. The residential campus creates a true community, with the vast majority of undergraduates living on campus.
Stanford competes in NCAA Division I athletics as the Cardinal and has an incredible tradition of success across a wide range of sports. Walking around campus, it was easy to see how academics, athletics, innovation, and student life all come together to create such a unique college experience.
While I was there as a proud mom, I couldn’t help but look at Stanford through my college counselor eyes!
Fun Fact: Stanford has won 137 NCAA team national championships, more than any other university, and has won at least one NCAA championship for 49 consecutive years.
