This week the youth group from the Church at Sandhurst held Missions Boot Camp. Students attended Bible classes in the morning and worked in teams serving the community in the afternoons. Each team is led by an adult leader and has 3- 5 students depending on the project. The team that came to Carver had 3 former Carver Bears! We are very thankful for their service and the improvements they made to the United States map and the science garden.

Good Afternoon to all Carver Parents/Guardians,

I want to remind all parents about our Title 1 Annual Meeting/Open House on Thursday, July 29. We will meet with kindergarten through second grade parents/students in the multipurpose room beginning at 5:30pm. After our meeting, parents and students will be able to go meet their teachers. We will meet with third, fourth, and fifth grade parents/students beginning at 6:00pm. Once we are done with this meeting, parents will be able to go meet their classroom teachers.
Someone will be available to give out teacher assignments if you don’t know which class your child is in for the upcoming school year. A map of the school will also be available for parents.

Our PTO will have the Kona Ice truck at Carver (front parking lot) at 5:00pm. Families are welcome to enjoy this sweet treat. 10% of the profits will go to the PTO fund.
Food/drinks will not be permitted in the building.

Late Registration-

We will be available to assist parents with registering students until Friday, July 30 at noon. Beginning on Monday, August 2nd, all late registration will take place at the Attendance and Zoning Office. Don’t forget to take your proof of residency information with you.

5th grade Farewell!

Today we celebrated a Final Walk for graduating seniors that were Carver Bears.

Graduating seniors that attended Carver are invited to attend a final farewell walk with our 5th graders that are moving on to middle school. Parents will not be allowed inside the building but will be directed to a designated area along the carline in front of the school to celebrate the seniors and 5th graders.
