Hero’s Quest Collectible Achievement Cards
Heroes can now earn collectible achievement cards by completing quest lines, serving the community, or executing specific techniques during live training.

Rare alternate-art cards are reserved for our most demanding challenges and can only be earned during limited windows within select quest lines.

We’re introducing this system to reward students who study, practice, and apply what they learn in class—giving their effort a tangible prize they can collect, display, and be proud of.

Yesterday, some of the team and I took a trip to learn from a true Jiu-Jitsu legend, Rigan Machado.

If you don't know the name, Rigan is one of the pioneers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has spent decades teaching the art. He's also coached some pretty big names along the way, including Ashton Kutcher, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Keanu Reeves, and Charlie Hunnam.

We spent a lot of time working on the triangle and omoplata, then finished the session with a brutal drilling session that felt very old school.

I'm grateful I was able to bring some of our team along with me. Experiences like this are always better when you can share them with your people.

The September attacks were 25 years ago but every year this is still a somber and reflective day. A tragic day marked by evil but also a day full of heroic efforts where ultimately the American spirit prevailed. Today we got a surprise visit from someone who means a whole lot to Swampfox Jiu-Jitsu.

Professor Tim Jones, the founder of Swampfox Jiu-Jitsu.

If you don't know who Tim Jones is, you should.

Tim is the godfather of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the P*e Dee region.

Nearly 20 years ago, Tim put down a flag right here in our community and started teaching jiu-jitsu. It started in a garage, and from those humble beginnings, something much bigger grew.

Swampfox Jiu-Jitsu exists because Tim laid that foundation.

And when you look around the P*e Dee today, it's pretty remarkable to see what that one decision eventually became.

Year after year, more gyms have opened. More people have discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. More kids are growing up on the mats. More competitors are stepping onto the podium. More instructors are passing the art on to the next generation.

And so much of that can be traced back to one person deciding to plant a flag and start teaching.

We are standing on the foundation Tim built nearly two decades ago.

The amount of gratitude we have for Professor Tim Jones cannot be understated.

Thank you for starting Swampfox. Thank you for bringing Jiu-Jitsu to the P*e Dee. And thank you for laying the groundwork for everything that came after.

Need a night out this Halloween season?
Drop the kids at Swampfox Jiu Jitsu for our Parents Night Out Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 17 from 6 PM–10 PM. Ages 4–12.

We’ll have pizza, snacks, games, crafts, and more — plus an age-appropriate movie night featuring It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Costumes are welcome, but not required.

Pricing
$30 per kid if you register before October 1
$40 per kid after that (through October 17)

Limited spots. Drop-off event.
