Break out the bright colors, denim, layered looks, and all things 2000s! Come dressed for Y2K at school, then bring that same energy to the game against Pelahatchie!

🐆 Friday, August 28 — WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE
Animal print, jungle vibes, and wild looks are taking over! Come dressed for the theme at school and keep the Tiger spirit going that night at Salem!

🐅 Tiger Spotlight!

Leadership has no limits, and neither do our Tigers! We are incredibly proud to see Emma Paul representing Tiger Nation on a global stage while growing as a leader, communicator, and changemaker.

This summer, Emma Paul represented McLaurin High School at the HOBY Leadership Seminar. Following the program, she was selected as one of only two students in Mississippi to receive a scholarship to attend the HOBY World Leadership Congress in Washington, D.C., where she has the opportunity to join more than 400 student leaders from across the U.S. and around the world to further develop her leadership skills!

We are incredibly proud of Emma and this outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations, Emma! 💚💛

🎶 Starting the Year on the Right Note! 🎶

The 2026–2027 school year is already off to an incredible start, and our Tigers are leading the way!

Congratulations to Carmen Lacy, John King, James King, Skyler Johnson, Kayden Barnett, and Brody Berry , who were selected to perform with the Rankin County All-District Band as they welcomed educators from across the district back for the new school year.

Being selected to perform at this event is a reflection of the hard work and commitment these students have invested in their craft. We are incredibly proud of these students for setting the tone for what is sure to be an outstanding year.

Here’s to a year filled with excellence, leadership, and opportunities to ROAR!
