What a truly special honor it was to host today’s celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary with our local DAR chapter. There’s something really meaningful about gathering together to reflect on where we’ve come from and the values that continue to shape us.

April 18th marks the official birthdate - a moment in history that reminds us why historic preservation, education, and patriotism matter so deeply. Grateful to have been a small part of something that celebrates both our past and the generations to come. 🇺🇸

INSPIRE ADULT COOKING CLASSES
These two classes are scheduled for May.

CAKE DECORATING: Friday Evening, May 1st, from 6-8pm. Pastry Chef Jamie (owner of Eugene's Jamie Cakes) returns by popular demand for another great cake decorating class. Everyone who has taken her class has LOVED it.

CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE MAKING: Saturday, May 9th, from noon to 3:30pm. Chef Jason of the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute will guide you through the steps of making outstanding Chocolate Truffles from scratch.

INSPIRED FRENCH TOAST 21.
Mango sorbet infused sourdough baguette topped with our house apple pie compote, paired with a honey strawberry Greek yogurt swoop, and sweet French omelette roll garnishment.

This meal cost about $35 total to make and feeds 8 people or can be used for meal prep throughout the week - bringing the cost to about $4.37 per plate.

Keep in mind, some ingredients (like coconut aminos and sesame oil) are pantry staples—the price reflects the full bottle, which can be used across multiple meals, lowering the true cost per serving even further.

Most ingredients were sourced affordably from Grocery Outlet, with coconut aminos purchased at Costco.

Our mission at Inspire Culinary Academy is to empower families, youth, and individuals with the skills to prepare wholesome, flavorful meals - proving that nutritious food can be created for under $5 per plate without compromise.
