🚨 Breaking News: AHSAA has announced a Public–Private School Split.🚨
This is a big move and one that will change the landscape of high school athletics across Alabama—including here at home.
Some will see this as a win for competitive balance. Others will worry about the loss of long-standing rivalries, tradition, and shared postseason experiences. Either way, it’s clear this decision will have real impacts on schools, athletes, coaches, and communities.
Change is coming. The big question now is whether this creates fairer competition or more division.
