✨ Our first day of the 2026–2027 school year is officially in the books! 🎉

Our hallways were filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement as students met their teachers, made new friends, learned classroom/school routines, and began a brand-new school year. 📚✏️🍎

We are so proud of how well our students did today and can't wait to see all the learning, growth, and memories they'll make this year. 🌟

Seeing our students and families back at Royall brought so much excitement and energy to the building. It was wonderful watching students meet their teachers, visit their classrooms, and get ready for a bright new school year.

📢 Florence 1 Schools Families,

🚌 The transportation deadline is approaching for the upcoming school year! If your child requires bus transportation, please make sure their registration is fully completed and submitted by 🚨July 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. 🚨to receive bus transportation on the first day of school.

📌 Important Reminders:

✅ In order for students to attend the first day of school, their registration must be submitted AND approved by their school.

🏢 Parents registering on the first day of school must visit the Attendance and Zoning Office, 412 South Dargan Street. Registration will not be done at the schools.

📧 Students registered by the July 8 deadline will receive bus route details via email on July 22.

🚌 Registrations submitted and approved July 9–28 will receive bus details on July 31 and may begin riding on August 5.

🚌 Registrations submitted and approved on or after the first day of school will receive bus details on August 7 and may begin riding on August 10.

Parents who register after July 8 are responsible for providing transportation until the student's registration is submitted and approved for bus service.

🎉☀️ Royall Elementary families, you’re invited to celebrate our students during our Awards Days next week! 💙✨

Join us as we recognize the hard work, growth, and achievements of our students across all grade levels. 1st–5th grade students are encouraged to dress nicely for the ceremony. Kindergarten students should wear jeans to school, and teachers will provide their Kindergarten t-shirt before the ceremony.

Ceremonies will take place in the Royall Multipurpose Room on the following dates:

🎓✨ Today was such a special and emotional day at Royall! Our former Royall seniors returned to walk the halls one last time before graduation, and it was a beautiful reminder of how quickly the years fly by.💙💛

Our students made signs, lined the hallways, and cheered the seniors on as they walked through the building. 📣🎉

Following behind them were our current 5th graders, who will soon begin their own middle school journey. It was such a meaningful moment filled with smiles, encouragement, and celebration for all they have accomplished! 🌟📚

We are incredibly proud of each and every student — both the seniors preparing for their next chapter and our 5th graders getting ready for new adventures. The future is bright, and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things they will accomplish! 🎉🎓✨
