There are everywhere!!! The Political Science department saw that in Columbia during a visit to a law school fair Wednesday. They ran into FMU alum (2013 & 2017), who showed them around his workplace in the Governor’s office, as well as family law attorney Reed Swearingen (1988), who shared some career advice with the prospective law students. They also just happened to run into state Rep. Heather Ammons Crawford (2005) at lunch!!! FMU grads are everywhere!

Representatives from Boeing will hold a virtual career session next Wednesday, October 20th at 5:30 pm. We will gather in the Lowrimore Auditorium in the CEMC to meet with Mr. Frank Hatten to hear more about Boeing's 787, their operations in South Carolina, and career opportunities at Boeing and in the aerospace industry. This will be Boeing's first "visit" to FMU, so don't miss this chance to learn about a great SC company. Also, there will be free Boeing swag for students who attend.

If you have questions about using Handshake, we want to help. Staff members from the Career Center will be in the Stanton Academic Computer Center (SACC) this Thursday, September 23rd from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Are you needing help with:

-searching for a part-time or full-time job

......then plan to stop by the Computer Center (located between the Fine Arts Building and the Stokes Administration Building) on Thursday between 1pm - 3pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
