According to a recent Alabama Daily News article, Harlan Elementary scored above the statewide proficiency rates in both Reading (ELA) and Math on the 2025–2026 ACAP tests!

Alabama Daily News analyzed school-level ACAP results and found 78 schools where ELA proficiency increased by at least 10 percentage points.
