Art Through the Ages! π¨ What an incredible week at Art Camp. Our rising 2nd and 3rd graders spent the week traveling through history, exploring a different art movement each day, from prehistoric and medieval all the way through romantic, impressionist, and expressionist art. The creativity these kids brought to every single project was just incredible. We are so proud of each and every one of them! Thank you to our amazing Art teacher, Mrs. Jaime Banks and the volunteers that made this week of camp possible.

We are thrilled to welcome Sadie Killen (soon to be Sadie Higgins next weekend!) to the Mars Hill Bible School family as our newest Kindergarten teacher! πΎ
Sadie's connection to Mars Hill runs deep. She and her fiancΓ©, Peyton Higgins are actually Mars Hill sweethearts, making this role especially close to her heart. She comes to us on her journey towards a degree in Elementary Education and five years of experience as the Children's Events Minister at Cross Point, along with experience as a reading interventionist at Wilson Elementary. Beyond the classroom, Sadie has a heart for missions that truly sets her apart. She has served as an intern with Partner 4 Africa and currently serves with the John Oubre 4 Antigua Foundation, helping provide meals for children in Antigua.
We could not be more excited to have Sadie back on the Mars Hill campus. Our Kindergarteners are so lucky to have her! Welcome, Mrs. Higgins!

She holds both her Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees from the University of North Alabama.
We are so grateful she chose Mars Hill for this next chapter of her career and we know she is going to be an incredible addition to our team. Our 5th graders are in great hands! Welcome, Mrs. Crittenden!

We're excited to announce our schoolwide theme for the coming year: π THINK ON THESE THINGS π.
Based on Philippians 4:8, this theme will encourage our students to consider what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy.
In a world filled with distractions and noise, this theme challenges us to intentionally direct our thoughts toward what is good, godly, and life-giving. Throughout the year, we will focus on mental wellness and the power of our thought lives while encouraging students to pursue truth, seek excellence, show love, and develop a Christ-centered mindset.
From classrooms and chapel programs to service opportunities and everyday conversations, Think On These Things will serve as a reminder that God calls us to fix our minds on things that are excellent and praiseworthy. We are excited to see how this theme will inspire our students, faculty, staff, and families throughout the year!
