Escape Hibbett Houses! 📚🏰

Our 5th grade students teamed up this morning for a reading review scavenger hunt turned escape room! 🔐

Students worked together to read passages and answer questions covering main idea, fact vs. opinion, cause & effect, and summarizing. Each correct set of answers earned them a clue, which they had to decipher to find their next piece of the challenge!

After solving 4 clues, teams earned a piece of their House Shield. 🛡️ The first team to complete their shield was crowned the winner! 🏆

What a fun way to review reading skills while building teamwork, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition!

Who knew reading review could be this much fun?

Adventure Awaits in the Great Outdoors!🌿

Our 5th graders headed to the Agriplex in Cullman for a hands-on field trip inspired by their Hatchet-themed learning! 🪓🌲

Students put their survival skills to the test as they learned how to start a fire, collect and filter water, identify wild edibles, and build shelters. From the classroom to the great outdoors, our Falcons were learning, exploring, and putting their problem-solving skills into action! 🏕️🔥💧

What an adventure! 💙
