Hello Class of 2009!

This is Mrs. Pickell’s last year of teaching. Many of us (if not all) have wonderful memories of being in her class from middle to high school.

To recognize her retirement and show appreciation, Hailey Miles has offered to put together a beautiful floral arrangement (or a few) to send Mrs. Pickell her last week at school. Hailey owns Truck Full of Posies and has serious talent with flowers!

I know a lot of people went to see Garth and that’s totally okay! I suggest that we use this page to keep in touch. We don’t have to only hang out during a reunion. If you’re visiting town and you want to meet up with some classmates please reach out on this page. Quite a few of us live in town and I know some of us would love to get together. 💛💙

Tomorrow I’m heading out to SMS overnight outdoor school with over 100 excited and nervous 6th graders. Overnight camp is back after a 13 year hiatus, and it’s making me feel nostalgic! Post a favorite memory from elementary, middle or high school from field trips, sports, or just school in general. Oh, and wish me luck at camp.... Kids these days.

Hey guys! If you are coming from out of town for our reunion on June 29th and don’t have anywhere to stay, Honeyman State Park still has 17 tent sites left for the weekend of June 28th-30th. Campsites fill up very quickly. You can make reservations through Reserve America’s website. If you need any help with finding lodging, comment here and I can try to answer your questions. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
