There are some people who simply make our school a better, brighter place just by being in it; and Mrs. Tina Sayler is absolutely one of them. We are bursting with pride to announce that she has been named a Florence 1 Schools Honor Roll Support Staff of the Year, making her a finalist for the district! Mrs. Sayler pours her heart into everything she does, showing up with kindness and unwavering dedication every single day. We are so incredibly proud of her. Thank you, Mrs. Sayler, for embodying the very best of what it means to be a Bruin! 🐻💙

Our Piano Bruins exercised their rhythm reading and dictation skills at Rhythm Game Stations! At each station, students used the Teoria and Musicca websites to perform rhythm patterns they read and notate patterns they heard. These skills are important for building music literacy and independence as pianists. Students helped their group members keep the steady beat, and cheered each other on! Special thanks to Ms. Esterdahl for letting us use the chorus room for these activities 🎹🎶

Attention SF Students and Fans:

We are looking forward to seeing Bruin fans in Bruin Stadium Friday night. We want the game to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.

All students entering through the student gate must have a 26-27 SFHS student ID. Students without a valid SFHS ID will not be allowed to enter with a student ticket. NO EXCEPTIONS! ID sharing is strictly prohibited and will result in removal from the game. All Florence 1 students are reminded that Florence 1 Code of Conduct applies at all school events including after school athletic activities.

Elementary and Middle school students must enter through the general admission gate accompanied by a parent/guardian. Elementary/Middle school students without a parent/guardian will not be allowed to enter.

Fans need to be seated in the bleachers. Fans will not be allowed to walk continually back and forth in the bleachers or congregate near the concession or restroom area. Fans who fail to comply with stadium expectations will be escorted out by law enforcement.

We look forward to a great game Friday night! See you there, Bruins!

Our Graphic Design students have been busy putting their skills to work! Students recently designed personal banners, learned to operate our wide-format printer, and practiced the finishing process by cutting and installing grommets. Now, they’re gearing up for our Fall Senior Sports Banners! Through this project, students gain hands-on experience with the same equipment, techniques, and production processes they would encounter in a professional print shop.

A huge THANK YOU to S/W Printing Company for their generous donation of a Vinyl Floor Rack! We are incredibly grateful for your support of our students and our Graphic Design program.
