This group is for people who either graduated from Coffee High School in Florence in 1982 , or who went to coffee during that time but for some reason had to finish somewhere else. If you graduated in 82 and went to Coffee for ,((Freshman fall 78/spring 79, Sophomore fall 79/spring 80, Junior fall 80/spring 81, Senior fall 81/spring 82)) we would still love to have you. We all made many friends at

Coffee and even if you had to leave during those four years to go somewhere else, we want you to be part of this group, because we were friends.

Please keep Spencer Butler in your prayers. He was involved in a two vehicle crash this evening in Courtland, where he is police chief. He was flown to Huntsville hospital. The wreck happened a little before 7 pm tonight, his vehicle overturned during the collision. I will update if I hear anything else.

I found out yesterday that sadly Eugene (Gene) Stockard passed away a few weeks ago. Gene was living in Guatemala from what I have been able to find out. Sadly, Another classmate gone. An arrangement has been ordered for Donnell's service and will be at the visitation tonight from our graduating class. I will not be able to make it, we have had something else come up. FATAL CRASH ON U.S. 43 CLAIMS LIFE OF ST. FLORIAN WOMAN

(SHOALS INSIDER) — A two-vehicle crash Thursday morning on U.S. Highway 43 in Lauderdale County has claimed the life of a Saint Florian woman, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

ALEA officials say the crash occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. Thursday, April 30, near the 330 mile-marker, approximately three miles north of Killen.

Investigators say Teresa D. Bretherick, 61, of St. Florian, Alabama, was driving a 2000 Jeep Wrangler when it was struck by a 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by an 18-year-old from Lexington.

Bretherick was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment but later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The driver of the Jeep Cherokee and an 18-year-old passenger in the vehicle were both injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Kimberly Spears, 57, of Florence, who was a passenger in the Wrangler, was also injured in the crash and was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
