Florence Scholars Bowl Medals in National Championships

🏆 Team Performance Highlights
Florence JV's Dominant Run: The JV team finished with a stellar 9–3 overall match record, scoring a massive 3,940 total points over the course of the tournament.

Varsity's Hard-Fought Success: The Varsity team wrapped up with a winning 6–5 overall record, racking up 3,090 total points against elite regional competition from all over the Southeast, as well as New York and Guam.

🌟 Individual All-Star Stat Highlights
You can use these specific stats to back up why those four players were named tournament all-stars:

Tomas Padgett (Varsity): Finished as the #3 overall scorer in the entire Varsity division! He averaged a massive 93.6 points per game and personally answered 35 ""power"" questions (worth 20 points each).

Margaret Pebworth (JV): Finished as the #3 overall scorer in the JV division, leading the Florence JV squad with an impressive 68.3 points per game and scoring 820 total points.

Sammy Gren (JV): Finished as the #6 overall scorer in the JV division, averaging 50.0 points per game and contributing 600 total points to the team's runner-up finish.

Clayton Epps (JV): Finished as the #9 overall scorer in the JV division, giving Florence three players in the tournament's Top 10 with his 42.7 points per game.

Join us on Saturday, June 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Florence Middle School side parking lot (648 N. Cherry Street) for our FCCLA Community Yard Sale.

Shop a variety of items including clothing, housewares, furniture, games, and more. Kona Ice and lunch items will also be available for purchase.

All proceeds help Florence FCCLA students attend leadership conferences and continue participating in opportunities that develop leadership, service, and career skills. Thank you for supporting our students and our chapter!
