Like every industry, the beauty industry has always had its icons—and today, we lost one.
Dolly Parton was known for so many good, wholesome, and beautiful things, but among those many attributes was her undeniable love for hair, skin, makeup, nails, and all the artistry that makes our industry so special.
While her style may not have looked like everyone else’s, there is no denying that Dolly was—and forever will be—a beauty industry icon. She embraced glamour, celebrated self-expression, and helped shine a light on the importance of the work done by cosmetologists, estheticians, manicurists, and beauty professionals everywhere.
Today, we honor and acknowledge ALL of the good Dolly Parton brought into this world. Her light, her confidence, her generosity, and her unmistakable style will be deeply missed.
