Kappa Alpha Order- Francis Marion University- Delta Tau Chapter

This week, brothers Mazick and Carter had the honor to be present while former Delta Tau Faculty Advisor Dr. Neil Thigpen was awarded the Order of the Palmetto from Governor Henry McMaster. Congratulations Dr. Thigpen!

Last Friday some of the brothers from the active chapter had the amazing opportunity to accompany our alumni on a dove hunt hosted by alumnus brother Skipper. Thank you to alumnus brother Skipper for a great time and amazing fellowship, we look forward to the next one!

Brothers Watford, Number I, and Sawyer, Number II, had the honor of attending the 81st biannual convention in Roanoke and Lexington, Virginia. They had a full weekend of brotherhood and fellowship with chapters from all around the country. They also got the honor of electing the new executive council as well as the 43rd Knight Commander James M. Schmuck. We also would like to thank Knight Commander Aiken for his service to the Order over the last two years.

Shoutout to our president Christian Newman along with Delta Tau alum Alex Courtney, Wilson Long, and Spencer Boyington on their second place finish in the inaugural Lake City Classic. Big golf guy? Rush the Order to join the best sticks on campus.

Delta Tau and friends had a great time tailgating and watching the Cookout Southern 500 at Darlington raceway this past Sunday. Big shoutout to Mr. Jim for letting us load up the trailer and party bus.
