We had our first school-wide club day! All students were able to go to a club they chose based on what they are interested in. Staff and teachers led a variety of clubs such as karaoke, UNO, Yoga, nail art, science, travel, board games, clay, dancing, learning to tie shoes, 3-D pens, coding with the BCPL, cooking, bingo and so many more! Our Comets have so many wonderful interests and talents! Thank you to our school counselors for planning it and to our PTO for funding it!

We had an amazing time with Oh She Built That, Inc. for our Fall 2026 Build! Ten incredible young ladies came together to complete a service project for Collins Elementary, building a Lending Library for our campus.

Along the way, they learned woodworking skills, challenged themselves, made friendship bracelets to share with our community, and somehow found time for improv shows, scooter races, dance parties, and cheering on our Boys Run Club.

We are incredibly grateful to Oh She Built That for giving our girls the opportunity to learn, create, give back, and have fun while doing it. Most importantly, they reminded us that sometimes the best part of a project is the friendships and memories.

We had so much fun at our Title I Annual Meeting Family Paint Night!

Families learned more about how Title I programming supports our students, provided feedback on our Parent & Family Engagement Policy and Parent-School Compact, and shared their ideas for future family programming.

Then, families had the opportunity to relax and paint a canvas together, led by our amazing Art Teacher, Mrs. Stephenson!

Thank you to all of our Collins families and volunteers who joined us and helped make the night a success!
