As we prepare to welcome a new playground to Kilby, we are building more than swings and slides — we are building the backdrop for childhood memories that will last a lifetime.

For generations, Kilby has been a place where friendships begin, confidence grows, and children discover who they are becoming. Our new playground will serve Kilby students for the next 27 years and beyond — a space where laughter will echo, imaginations will soar, and countless little feet will race toward recess with joy.

Former students of Mary Summy: Mrs. Summy is retiring! If you would like to show this wonderful teacher some love, there will be two opportunities next week. Next Thurs., May 18, at noon, the teachers are giving her an ice cream sundae party. On Fri., May 19, at 8 a.m. in the gym, the PTO will have a presentation for her. We know she would love to see some of her former students! Hope you can make to one or both of these events!

The 5th Annual Kilby 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Registration begins at 7 am!
