Florence FFA Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.

The National FFA Organization (formerly Future Farmers of America) envisions a future in which all agricultural education students will discover their passion in life and build on that insight to chart the course for their educations, career and personal future. Agricultural Education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems.

It’s AG AWARENESS DAY at the State Fair!!

Over 100 of our members are headed to the State Fair of Texas for Ag Awareness Day!! 🎡

What an incredible opportunity for our students to see agriculture in action and learn more about where their food, fiber, and so much more comes from.

We’re excited for a day full of learning, exploring, fried food and celebrating agriculture!!

We kicked off year two of “Blue Jackets, Big Stories” last week with “Otis” and a tractor coloring sheet!!

Members of the 2025-2026 officer team wanted to help bridge the gap between elementary and high school so they formed “Blue Jackets, Big Stories”!

One Friday a month, members from the officer team can be seen opening doors at drop off and reading with a kindergartner class! They pick books that go along with the season and try to include kindergarten TEKS in their conversations.

Thank you Florence Elementary School Buffaloes for letting us be a part of your beautiful campus!!

Homecoming: SURVIVED!!

Mrs. Trice, our floral teacher, is doing AMAZING!! After a crazy Homecoming season, I can officially say she survived! 😂

Just look at these BEAUTIFUL mums and garters!! So much creativity, hard work, and love went into each one, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they turned out!

From flowers to ribbons, glitter to all the little details — these students absolutely CRUSHED IT!!

We love seeing each students uniqueness shine through. From sports to band to FFA they covered it all!
