Community Schoolhouse is preparing to offer preschool support for families who want a warm, values-based, developmentally appropriate start for their little learners.

Preschool is best for families who want their child to build confidence, routines, early social skills, listening skills, fine motor skills, and a love for learning before kindergarten.

Today we remember a powerful moment in American history.

Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of freedom, truth, courage, and hope.

On June 19, 1865, news of freedom reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas. Today, Juneteenth gives families and students an opportunity to reflect on the value of liberty and the responsibility we have to learn history honestly and thoughtfully.

At Community Schoolhouse, we believe history helps students understand courage, perseverance, and the importance of treating others with dignity.

ESA stands for Empowerment Scholarship Account. For many Arizona families, ESA funds can help pay for educational options outside of traditional public school, including private school, microschool, tutoring, curriculum, and other approved educational expenses.

One week. Multiple ways to learn. A school rhythm that works for real families.

Community Schoolhouse offers families a complete learning week with flexible options for academics, support, and enrichment.

Our weekly model includes:

3-Day Microschool
Monday–Wednesday, students participate in small classes, hands-on learning, real connections, and academic growth in a calmer school environment.

1-on-1 Tutoring
Students can receive personalized support to build confidence, close skill gaps, get homework help, or receive extra practice in reading, math, and core subjects.

Theme-Based Electives
On Thursdays and Fridays, students can explore enrichment opportunities like AI, game design, 3D printing, health and wellness, creative projects, and real-world skills.

Families can choose the support that fits their child best. Some students may attend the 3-day microschool, some may add tutoring, and others may join us for electives and enrichment.

Our goal is to help students become curious, connected, and confident while giving families a flexible education option that feels supportive, personal, and meaningful.

Sometimes a child’s interest is the doorway to their future.

At Community Schoolhouse, our theme-based electives are designed to help students explore real-world skills in a hands-on, meaningful way.

One example is Carter, a young man with autism who had been playing Roblox for over five years. He loved the platform, understood how games worked, and already had a natural curiosity for creating digital worlds.

When we introduced him to our AI courses, we helped him take that interest further. Using an AI coding program called Claude Code, Carter began learning how to build games inside Roblox instead of only playing them.

With the right tools, encouragement, and support, Carter discovered a skill he was truly good at. Today, he is using those skills successfully and earning around $7,000 a month from the games he has built.

This is why we believe electives matter.

Our Thursday and Friday electives give students opportunities to explore things like:

✔ 3D printing
✔ Health and wellness
✔ Hands-on projects
✔ Real-world problem solving
✔ Creative design and innovation

Not every student learns best by sitting still with a worksheet. Some students come alive when they are building, designing, moving, creating, or solving real problems.

A calmer school rhythm. Real connection. Academic growth.

Community Schoolhouse offers a 3-day microschool option for families who want small classes, hands-on learning, and a more personalized approach to education.

Our students attend Monday–Wednesday from 10 AM–3 PM, giving families a consistent school structure while still leaving extra time in the week for home learning, family time, electives, tutoring, appointments, travel, or rest.

With a 1:9 ratio, students receive more individual attention, stronger relationships, and support that meets them where they are.

At Community Schoolhouse, learning is designed to be engaging, meaningful, and confidence-building. Students participate in project-based learning, core academics, hands-on activities, and a school environment that values family, character, and growth.

At Community Schoolhouse, our 1-on-1 tutoring is designed to help students build confidence, close skill gaps, and get the extra support they need to succeed.

We can provide our own curriculum and practice work, or we can use the curriculum your child is already working through at home or school. Between sessions, we can also send extra practice work so your child can keep growing throughout the week.

Our leadership team brings 50+ years of combined experience in public, private, and homeschool education, so families can feel confident knowing their child is being supported by people who understand different learning styles and educational paths.
