The real question isn’t:
“Do I like what God commanded?”

The real question is:
“Do I trust the One who commanded it?”

Obedience begins with God’s authority.

Delayed obedience often reveals resisted surrender.

God says forgive.
We delay.

God says repent.
We delay.

God says serve.
We delay.

At some point, obedience becomes the evidence of our faith.

Tonight at 6pm?

Sometimes we’re not waiting on God.
God is waiting on us.

We call it praying.
We call it processing.
We call it waiting.

But sometimes we already know what God said.

The question is: Will we obey?

James 1:22- “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.”

Spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how much Bible you know.

It’s measured by how much Bible you obey.

Hearing God’s Word is a blessing.
Obeying God’s Word is transformation.

Many people fail to launch spiritually not because they lack information, but because they resist submission.

The next step in your growth may simply be obedience.

Luke 6:46

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?”

Jesus isn’t looking for admiration.
He’s looking for obedience.

A Savior we trust is also a Lord we follow.

Knowing isn’t the same as obeying.

You can hear the truth.
You can agree with the truth.
You can even feel convicted by the truth.

But until truth changes how you live, conviction has not become obedience.

Conviction leads to action.

What a great night at Victory Above the Rim!

One thing that stood out tonight was the number of men in the gym. We’re thankful to see men investing in their faith, building relationships, encouraging one another, and setting an example for the next generation.

Basketball is the draw, but Christ is the focus.

Thankful for everyone who came out tonight. We’re already looking forward to next week!
