A Step Ahead Day School and Thursday’s Child will be closed on Monday, March 16th due to the weather uncertainty.
Looking forward to celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Tuesday. Wear green!!!!

Please know that we are watching weather updates for tomorrow very closely.

The safety of our staff and students are most important.

We also realize that we are a child care facility and are what enables many of you to attend work.

Should we make the decision to close tomorrow, the decision will not be made lightly.

A Step Ahead Day School and Thursday’s Child are both hiring for NOW, for the summer Kids Kamp program and PRN.

Hours available: 745-445, 815-515, 12-6, 130-530/6 and 3-6

High school diploma, fingerprints, TB test, mini physical and professional clock hour training required.

Pay varies based on childcare experience, ECE certificates or degrees. Zero childcare experience start at $10/hr.

A Step Ahead and Thursday Child will open at 645 am and close at 6 pm. Normal hours of operation !!

We will close because of secondary road conditions and concern about staff getting to work safely. We will reopen Tuesday regular schedule.

1- Full Time ( M-F 745am- 445pm) 40 hours/wk)
and
2- Part time positions
M-F 1215pm-6pm( 28.75 hours
m- F 130-6 ( 22.5 hours/wk)
* more hours availability PRN before each shift if interested.

Experience or ECD 101/102 secondary credentialing preferred, but not required!!
DSS requires a HS diploma, current TB test, doctor’s health assessment and fingerprinting (FBI, Cemtral Registry Check and SC Sled Catch are free).
Wages are negotiable based on experience and schooling
