Piano lessons are only part of the picture. The other six days and 23 hours are vital. How is your practice?

PD: Venn Diagram shows Bad practice with no goals, no reflection, waiting for inspiration to strike, taking social media "breaks," playing what you already know, and Attitude: "Because my teacher is making me." Good practice with Setting measurable goals, reflection (Am I improving? What needs more work?), practice is part of a daily routine, practicing in an area with no distractions, prioritizing and planning, Attitude: "I can't wait to master this!"
