Early Arts at Edgemont Early Arts is an educational program for Pre-schoolers offering age appropriate activities to build the learner in every child.

Early Arts educational program is designed to build skills in three primary areas of early childhood development: socialization, creative arts and self-concept. Socialization-we offer age appropritate opportunities to build relationships with teachers and students. Play, class time, Music and Movement, and Creative Arts are the tools we use to teach and enhance these skills. Creative Arts: We incorporate many art projects in the classroom, a music and movement class once a week per class and cooking in the classroom. The inclusion of creative arts expands and supports the developing child. Self-Concept: We will expose each child to a variety of learning styles. Students are encouraged to explore activities that are personally enjoyable. We desire to help the student mature with the confidence necessary to be successful students, managing themselves and the expectations of formal education.

Do you love working with children? Do you love watching children learn and explore? We have a few teacher openings? It is Part-Time. This is a great place for Mom’s returning to the work force, retired teachers, and someone who wants a new work place. It allows for a mom to drop children at school and attend after school activities! It allows for other activities in life.
Teachers at Early Arts at Edgemont can have a teacher certification but it is not required. We are looking for persons whose strengths are responsibility, input, analytical, team oriented, able to work independently, and coachable. This is a high energy environment—we are never bored! We ❤️Early Arts! If this is YOU—please send a resume to [email protected].
