Early Arts at Edgemont

Early Arts at Edgemont Early Arts is an educational program for Pre-schoolers offering age appropriate activities to build the learner in every child.

Early Arts educational program is designed to build skills in three primary areas of early childhood development: socialization, creative arts and self-concept. Socialization-we offer age appropritate opportunities to build relationships with teachers and students. Play, class time, Music and Movement, and Creative Arts are the tools we use to teach and enhance these skills. Creative Arts: We in

corporate many art projects in the classroom, a music and movement class once a week per class and cooking in the classroom. The inclusion of creative arts expands and supports the developing child. Self-Concept: We will expose each child to a variety of learning styles. Students are encouraged to explore activities that are personally enjoyable. We desire to help the student mature with the confidence necessary to be successful students, managing themselves and the expectations of formal education.

We are so excited to Welcome our Early Arts little friends and families to Early Arts at Edgemont for another Fantastic school year! PARENT OPEN HOUSE is TODAY!!!! Information has been sent several weeks ago. IF, for some reason, you did not receive your class specific information, please call us this morning (Thursday, Aug 20th) between 8:30-10 am. We are so excited to see you all!

Do you love working with children? Do you love watching children learn and explore? We have a few teacher openings? It is Part-Time. This is a great place for Mom’s returning to the work force, retired teachers, and someone who wants a new work place. It allows for a mom to drop children at school and attend after school activities! It allows for other activities in life.
Teachers at Early Arts at Edgemont can have a teacher certification but it is not required. We are looking for persons whose strengths are responsibility, input, analytical, team oriented, able to work independently, and coachable. This is a high energy environment—we are never bored! We are excited about Summer Camps. The next two week will be fun times at Early Arts. Camp 1 begins Monday, June 15th and Camp 2 begins, Monday, June 22nd! Two separate camps full of fun!

Summer Camps at Early Arts are almost here! We are so excited to spend some time with our Summer campers! Here’s a little info!

You can visit our website… the Camp weeks are individual. Camp 1 is week of June 15th and Camp 2 is the following week. Each are independent of the other. You can register for one or both. Total cost per camp is $170.00 per week. This includes registration fee, supply fees, and camp cost. We provide snacks and you provide lunch. Each camper needs their own water bottle. Campers ages 3 1/2-8 years old. Campers are grouped by ages during camps. Campers must be age approximately independent, be able to follow verbal direction, make quick transitions, and completely potty trained.

Camps this year will support STEA(Art)M learning.

Your gracious giving, words, and attention has gifted us joy, encouragement, energy, and laughter! We are all so very grateful for all the ways and things that have been gifted.
