Some have asked, “Why Light It Up Blue?”..

It “spreads awareness and understanding of autism, celebrates and honors the unique talents and skills of people with autism, and brings attention to the needs of all people with autism”
BLUE: is a calming color that can help individuals with autism to feel more relaxed and comfortable.
This is only a couple of brief reasons for why we Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness Month.

Stella and her big brother are both Lighting it up Blue for Autism! Ms. Rebekah (EIS) says, “Big brother is a big help with Stella’s growth and development. She loves to mimic her older brothers, which is a great way to practice her enunciation of words and to increase her vocabulary. She has already shown so much progress, just in her first month of Early Intervention services. She did a great job painting her bunny planter for her mama while practicing her fine motor skills.”

Brantley is lighting it up blue for Autism Awareness Month! He worked on increasing his fine motor skills yesterday with his EIS (Rebekah). He did a wonderful job painting his bunny planter for an Easter gift for his mama. Ms. Rebekah says, “Brantley has come such a long way, and is now able to hold a conversation with peers for several turns. He loves to talk!” Keep up the great work Brantley! 💙

Ms. Maribeth worked on some great fine motor skills with her littles this week!
“Kelanyi worked hard cutting out all of the pieces to create her bunny! With a little guidance from Mrs. Maribeth turning the paper, she made a one-of-a-kind Easter Bunny!!”- Maribeth (EI)

Oh, how time flys! This big boy has aged out of the BabyNet program and is on to greater things! 💙💙
His Early Interventionist (Rebekah) says “He is one of the sweetest littles and has done so well with increasing his personal social skills and cognitive skills! Way to go Cotey!”
