🦋🐛 Our preschool and Kindergarten classes have been buzzing with excitement as we dive into the amazing world of butterflies! 🦋

We’ve been learning all about the butterfly life cycle-starting as tiny eggs, growing into hungry caterpillars 🐛, forming chrysalises, and finally emerging as beautiful butterflies. The most exciting part? We’re getting to watch it happen right in our classroom!

Our little scientists have been carefully observing our caterpillars each day, noticing how much they eat, how they grow, and how they begin their transformation. There’s so much wonder, curiosity, and learning happening as we witness this incredible process together.

In Kindergarten, we wrapped up Dental Week with a fun (and slightly yucky!) experiment—growing our own “plaque”! 🦷🧪 The kids loved seeing how bacteria can build up on teeth and learned why brushing and flossing every day is so important.

Thank you to everyone who supported our little athletes in the Spring Olympics! 🎉 We raised $1,280.00! What an amazing contribution that helps us do fun and meaningful things in the classroom. This includes purchasing worms for our composting bins, supplies for hands-on experiments, and other materials we need throughout the year.

Shaving cream is always a favorite🌺

Today our preschool scientists celebrated Earth Day with a colorful experiment! 🌍 We filled a container with baking soda and added vibrant, colored vinegar to create a bubbly “Earth” reaction. The fizzing fun was a hands-on way to explore simple science while celebrating our amazing planet. 💚

This week has been full of hands-on learning, discovery, and earth-loving fun! Our little learners explored how we can take care of our planet by practicing recycling, learning about composting, and talking about simple ways we can all make a difference every day.

One of the highlights of our week was starting our very own worm composting bin! 🐛 The children were fascinated as they learned how worms help turn food scraps into nutrient-rich soil. It’s been such an exciting way to watch nature at work right before our eyes!

We are so proud of how curious and thoughtful our students are becoming when it comes to caring for the Earth. Small actions can make a big difference, and this week was a wonderful reminder of that.
