📣 The Clemson Extension Horticulture Team has an open agent position that we're looking to fill.

🌿 This Clemson Cooperative Extension Food Crop Horticulture Agent will collaborate with county and state personnel to develop, deliver, and evaluate practical horticultural knowledge to enhance food crop production and sustainability. The Agent will provide research-based training, on-farm research support, and production assistance to fruit and vegetable growers and stakeholders in Orangeburg, Calhoun, Sumter, and Clarendon Counties and serve as a point of contact for Dorchester County.

Come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather at the PDREC Field Day tomorrow!

Our office will be closed tomorrow (8/28) as all agents will be at the P*e Dee Rec Field Day. This event is geared towards agricultural professionals but is open to any and all who wish to attend. There will be pesticide credits for those who attend the whole event.

While our office will be closed, soil samples can still be dropped off at the drop box next to the door. Sample bags and forms will be available as well. If you need to contact an agent, you can find out office directory at clemson.edu/extension/co/florence.html

We will reopen Friday, August 29th, but will also be closed Monday, September 1st for Labor Day. We will resume normal hours beginning Tuesday, September 2nd.
