Little Roots Community Music for children, 0-8, and their grown-ups: Exploring and providing exposure to American Roots Music and a variety of musical traditions.

Private lessons, classes, live performance. Little Roots is an enriching and engaging community music experience for the young child and their caregiver. This is your little one’s introduction to the joy of music. As longtime professional musicians, Little Roots founders, Annie Stevenson and Maggie Shar, recognize the value of quality live music for people of all ages. Maggie and Annie select and

write songs rooted in a variety of folk music traditions. The repertoire is fun and accessible, including elements of storytelling and exposure to various instruments. Children will enjoy group singing with guitar, banjo, or ukulele to accompany, hand and stick drumming, bells, movement, dance, and more! We have room in tomorrow's Saturday Morning Pop-Up Classes with Lily! Trying to decide if you want to sign up for Spring II session or not? Come try one class! Also a great option if you need to squeeze in another make-up before the end of the session. There's a class at 10:00 and 10:45am.

As per tradition we are excited to be part of the Annual Arcadia Folk Festival in Easthampton, MA on August 29th alongside Allison Russell, Milk Carton Kids, John Craigie & MORE! This festival models a sustainable community event, and supports the work of the Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary. Tickets on sale April 17th at arcadiafolkfest.com.
