We raised this flag over Rogers School today. It was sent to us courtesy of Alabama Representative Robert Aderholt. Our appreciation to him and his staff for making this happen for Rogers School. At our request, this 5x8 flag was flown over the United States Capitol building in Washington, DC in honor of ALL the alumni of Rogers High School.
It was flown at the Rogers Homecoming Football game last Friday night.
You can see it flying now by the entrance to the high school office.
If you are a Rogers alumnus - this one’s for you!

Thank you Mr. Smith for securing this flag for our school in honor of Rogers Alumni.

📢 RES PARENT REMINDER: SQUISHY TOYS ARE NOW BANNED

Ahoy, Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

To help keep our classrooms safe and focused, squishy toys are no longer allowed at Rogers Elementary School.

We have experienced several squishy toys busting open, which creates a very messy situation in our classrooms. These toys can also become a major distraction during instructional time. Additionally, when some of the toys become hot, the liquid inside can become hot enough to burn students.

For the safety and learning environment of all our Pirates, please do not send squishy toys to school.

⚠️ If a student brings a squishy toy to school, it will be taken up by school staff.

Thank you for helping us keep our classrooms safe, clean, and focused on learning!

🏴‍☠️ We are anchored in Excellence! ⚓
