Wilson High School's Athletic Director, Derrick McQueen, has been recognized by NIAAA - National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator.

To earn this distinctive certification, McQueen participated in a series of NIAAA courses and electives and submitted a capstone project.

The NIAAA notes that McQueen has "demonstrated exemplary knowledge, contributions and ongoing professional development in the field of interscholastic athletic administration."

🚌Students must be fully registered by July 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. to receive bus transportation on the first day of school. Students registered by the July 8th deadline will have bus route details sent via email on July 22. Register today at f1s.org/registration.

Before participating in workouts, conditioning, tryouts, practices, or games, all student-athletes must:

✅ Create a parent/student Arbiter account
✅ Complete all required athletic forms
✅ Upload a current physical
✅ Receive approval through Arbiter

🚫 Students cannot participate until all requirements are completed and approved.

Today, at our End-of-Year Luncheon, we had the honor of recognizing Mrs. Wilson Addison as she officially begins her retirement after more than 40 years of dedicated service in education.

Mrs. Addison has been a valued member of the Wilson family since 2004, making a lasting impact on generations of students, families, and colleagues. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities, always demonstrating a passion for education and an unwavering commitment to student success.

As she closes this remarkable chapter and begins a new one, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind and the countless lives she has touched along the way.
