Our youngest Falcons have some pretty interesting ideas about what their parents do for work!

In honor of Community Helper Week, we asked a few of our students to tell us what their parents do for a living. Then, we let the parents share what they actually do!

We love celebrating the amazing community helpers who work hard every day to make a difference in our community—and we especially loved seeing them through the eyes of our littlest Falcons! Florence City Schools

Signatures: Renaissance is getting ready for its second edition!

Florence City Schools students are invited to help fill the pages of the district’s student literary magazine with their creativity.

Students can submit original writing, artwork, photography, and other creative works for consideration.

Last year’s inaugural edition showcased the incredible creativity of students across Florence City Schools, and we can’t wait to see what our Falcons create for Volume 2.

🍂 What an amazing day at W.C. Handy’s Fall Festival! The beautiful weather made it an even better way to end our week. 🧡

Our birth–4-year-olds enjoyed games and prizes at booths created by our teachers, with candy and trinket toys donated by Highland Baptist, Cook’s and our Handy families. They explored a maze and took a hayride thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Howell and their family. Every child also picked out a big pumpkin from our very own “pumpkin patch,” thanks to Walker Ranch! 🎃 Bouncy houses and food trucks added to the fun.

Thank you to our Key Club and UNA volunteers, and to our district leadership for coming out to support us. We’re especially grateful to all our families for joining us and to our hardworking staff for making this day so special, as always!

Thank you to our sponsors and community partners for helping make this day possible! We’ve included a sponsor page at the end of the photos to recognize everyone who supported our Fall Festival. 🧡

We couldn’t have asked for a better Fall Festival! 🍁 Florence City Schools

These pictures were too good not to share! We ended Homecoming Week with two fun-filled days at W.C. Handy!

🌈 On Thursday, our Falcons lit up the school in their brightest colors for Encanto Day because we don’t talk about the Raiders!

🐉 On Friday, our students and staff proudly wore their Falcon gear for How to Train Your Dragon Day because our Falcon spirit can’t be tamed!

From the colorful outfits to the big smiles and unforgettable memories, our little Falcons made Homecoming Week truly special! 💙🩶
