Our JROTC cadets had an exciting opportunity to visit the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Program at Hinds Community College! Cadets received an up-close look at drone technology, learned about UAS operations, and explored the education and career opportunities available in this rapidly growing field.

Experiences like this give our cadets valuable exposure to emerging technology while helping them discover potential pathways in aviation, public safety, engineering, and other UAS-related careers.

A big thank you to Hinds Community College for welcoming our cadets and providing an informative, hands-on learning experience!

The class made their Journey to Mobile to visit the USS Alabama Battleship Park last Friday. They were also able to see the SS United States, which is being prepared for sinking off the coast as a tourist attraction. They worked hard to fundraise for the trip, and a shout-out to Cline Tours and driver Terry Beckley for a safe, smooth trip. Based on the noise level, they enjoyed the bus ride as much as a sunny day at the museum!
