Great turnout for our Blood Drive yesterday, 56 willing donors! Thank you W***y, your team was awesome (especially Melody who got me on the first stick painlessly). We had a great team led by C/LTC Josie St. Germain and C/MAJ Kenia Valencia! The next drive with be in February (date TBD). If you weren't able to be there you can go to the MSBS location in Flowood and tell them you want to donate for MHS. https://msblood.com/

C/CPT Mason Patton led out service learning project team and collected hundreds of clothing items to donate to "Shower Power" social services in Jackson to support the homeless community there. He and his mother took the donations and were able to meet the beneficiaries and help serve a meal. We were proud to partner with such a great organization that is bringing relief and hope in a difficult season! https://showerpower.ms/

McLaurin JROTC Cadet Leaders attended a Leadership Symposium hosted by William Carey University. Dr. Brett Golson gave a great presentation on Servant Leadership. Our Commander Josie St. Germain, XO Kenia Valencia, S5 Hazel Woods, and Unit Commander Mason Patton attended!

Our Drill Team placed 3rd in unarmed platoon commanded by cadet Captain Jonathon McElroy, and 3rd in unarmed squad commanded by cadet Second Lieutenant Rylee Ainsworth.
