In this newly established leadership role, Summer will lead our Academic Advising Center and help strengthen our commitment to student success by ensuring every student receives personalized guidance throughout their educational journey.

With more than six years of higher education advising experience and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals, Summer brings outstanding leadership and a student-first approach to our campus.

Celebrate Independence!

McLeod Health has graciously donated $75,000 to the Florence-Darlington Technical College Nursing program. We're so glad to have amazing educational partners who invest in the quality of our community.

“McLeod has been an exceptional partner to Florence-Darlington Technical College, and their continued investment in our Nursing program demonstrates a strong commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals,” FDTC Interim President Dr. Debbie Cheek said. “Thanks to initiatives like this, our students will have greater opportunities to succeed both in the classroom and throughout their careers.”

Due to ongoing HVAC issues affecting the 100 & 5000 Building’s on the Main Campus, the college will close these buildings at 3 p.m. today. All labs scheduled in the 5000 Building this afternoon have been canceled.

This closure impacts the Business Office, Admissions Office, Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid Office, among others in these buildings.

Unless otherwise notified, all classes affected by this closure should report to class as regularly scheduled on Tuesday, June 9.

The FDTC Educational Foundation annual scholarship application period is open until June 30. You may qualify for local and foundation scholarships.
