Founded on May 15, 1851, Alpha Delta Pi is the oldest secret society for college women in the world. Established at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, the first college chartered to grant degrees to women in the world, the story of Alpha Delta Pi began. The Zeta Phi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was welcomed onto Francis Marion University’s campus in 1980. We believe Alpha Delta Pi is more than a sorority; that it is a way of life.

During the recent spring semester, several of our sisters had the opportunity to study abroad.
Here is Alia’s experience in Ireland🩵
“I think studying abroad is one of the best decisions I could’ve made for myself! It was a once in a lifetime experience and I’ll always be grateful for all the memories I’ll have to look back on. It gave me the opportunity to travel to so many places and explore so many different cultures. I was even able to visit places that have been on my bucket list like Morocco, Paris, and Monaco. I’m so grateful I was able to create new friendships and memories I made while exploring Ireland while at Carlow College”
