Our 53rd Annual Military Inspection is complete!

We would like to thank our Area Manager, LtCol Clark, for coming all the way from Charlotte to inspect us today. We would also like to thank all parents who decided to come out to this very important event.

Today’s events included…
- Uniform Inspection of the whole Unit.
- Drill Performances
- The Unit’s “Pass in Review”
- The “State of the Unit” Brief/Presentation
- An inspection of Supply, Administration, and the Armory

We would also like to thank our instructors, LCDR Bethea & SCPO Brown for their help in getting ready for this major event.

And now it is time for a well earned break!

Today was one last ride this season for the SFHS NJROTC CyberPatriot Team! In partnership with the Advantage Academy, the CyberPatriot Team accomplished more than ever before in CyberPatriot XVI!

These accomplishments include…
- Third-Consecutive Year as a Gold Tier Participant
- First Place in the Vanguard High School NJROTC CyberPatriot Postal for the Gold Tier
- First-Time Gold Tier Semifinalists

We are proud of this year’s CyberPatriot Team Members for their hard work and dedication to their respective virtual machines.

We would also like to thank Mrs. Tara Pressley for helping mentor us along the way. We are also excited to see what the next season of CyberPatriot will bring us.

Due to inclement weather moving through the area, FSD1 will implement e-Learning procedures tomorrow.

Due to the threat of inclement weather tomorrow, Florence 1 Schools will have an e-learning day on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. There will be no athletic events, no extended day care, or after school activities in Florence 1 on Tuesday.

The Best High School ROTC Unit at the Florence Christmas Parade in Florence, SC!

For another straight year, we have won the Florence Christmas Parade as the best JROTC Unit.

As the semester comes to an end, so do the parades. Thank you to those who helped attend these parades!

The Best “Band” at the Nichols Parade in Nichols, SC!

After almost a mile marching around the small town of Nichols, with a morning filled with cadences sung by 15 of our cadets, we earned 1st Place Band from the Nichols Committee!

Thank you to all of those who came out and helped represent the South Florence NJROTC Unit.

Now, on to the Florence Christmas Parade next Saturday. See you all then!

We got 3rd Place Overall at the Carolina Forest Drill Meet!
