A strong showing from the UNA Horn Studio at IHCA this weekend! 📯

We’re proud to have two current students John Harrington and Jackie Self as well as two alumni Connell Cornelius and James Falcón-Santana representing UNA and competing alongside some incredible horn players from around the world. It’s especially exciting to see current students and alumni sharing the same stage and continuing to represent what we’re building here.

Proud of all four of them. Wish them luck! 💪📯

📯 The North Alabama Community Horn Choir is back!!!

Starting next Tuesday 9/1 at 4:30 PM room 140 in the UNA Music building, horn players from across North Alabama are invited to come make music together. The ensemble is open to all UNA students, area high school students, alumni, and music educators.

If you play horn and want to be part of an exciting ensemble, we would love to have you join us!

Congratulations to the UNA Horn Choir for earning First Prize in the professional age group of the Ensemble Division at the Kings Peak International Music Competition. Dr. Jordan Redd was also awarded First Prize in the professional age group of the Solo Division.

These accomplishments reflect the continued growth of the UNA Horn Studio and the dedication of its outstanding students.
