Old School is back at it in 2022! Excited to get our family and visiting friends back out in the woods and make some syrup after a quiet year off. Yesterday was filled with happy energy, kids, dogs and lots of mud. Fingers crossed for a longer season and more great photos to share....stay tuned.

Wow! Thank you to Robert Layman at the Rutland Herald for the wonderful feature of our sugaring operation! We loved having him visit last week and the photos and write-up were just perfect. Pick up a copy of today's paper (Tuesday)...."The age-old saying “many hands make for quick work” was especially true last week when Sonny Poremski hosted his three grandchildren and their two friends for an afternoon of sugaring. The energy was high and the sap buckets full, and in just a little over an hour, the children and parents managed to gather over 400 gallons of sap from buckets around their sugar bush in Florence — an amount that led Poremski to say, “It’s going to be a long night.”❤️🍁

That’s a wrap on the season, friends! We collected buckets and taps yesterday and now onto the washing.
