We had our first annual fundraiser that ran the month of April at Clay City School. This foundraiser was to raise money for the Shriners Hospital in St Louis, with the winning class recieveing a pizza party. Mrs. French's 4th grade won raising $151.12. A grand total was raised at the school of $553. We couldn't be more proud of all the kids, teachers, and for the school for participating in this.

I was lucky enough to take my daughter today for her first Rainbow for Girls meeting in Effingham. They had a bowling party and pizza! This is a wonderful youth program for girls age 10 to 19, that has been restarted and looking for more members to join. Please look at the flyer for more information and contact information.
