On March 6th, our FFA officers embarked on a new adventure. They went to the state capital on they're CDE trip. They toured the Capital, as well as visited with state senator Scott Flippo. They also sat in on a House Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development Committee meeting. Our very own Marion County House Representative Jack Fortner sits on that committee!

Today the Flippin High School FFA officers are attending a CDE conference. Last year our former FFA officers attended the same conference in Harrison Arkansas, at North Ark college. Our FFA has left a legacy through out the years on former students and current students alike. Every year, every generation, every class, have all had the same experience with our FFA trips as well as the hands on activities. At the CDE conference last year, the officers judged livestock as well as poultry. Keep in touch to see our newest recruits when they're back from they're amazing outing!

CTE classes help you connect what you're learning to the real world. It can help you gain key skills to help you get a job after you graduate. It's also a great way to explore career options and meet the people who work in them. You might be able to earn college credit in high school. It also helps you connect with others.

Students in our Future Farmers of America program are involved in a wide variety of activities. They participate in FFA competitions, provide services to the community, and help with youth education. For example, students in our FFA programs had the opportunity to work with our elementary students to teach them about different animals through hands-on activities.
