One of the best parts of attending the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA) Annual Conference is the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends while meeting new people who are making a real difference in their communities.

I always leave inspired by the passion, creativity, and dedication of those working every day to make our communities better places to live, work, and play. It's encouraging to know there are so many people committed to sharing ideas, supporting one another, and finding new ways to create opportunities for the communities we serve. Let's keep the momentum going to make an even greater impact!

A recap of the Young Sharks and Junior Sharks Pitch Competitions is now available! We would like to once again extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated local teachers who have integrated this curriculum into their classrooms, the judges who generously volunteered their time to support local youth, the CS Mott Foundation for their support of youth entrepreneurship, and, of course, the students who identified real-world problems and embraced entrepreneurship to develop innovative solutions.
