“I am currently studying Computer Science and working at Ford Motor Company as a Manufacturing Engineer! Being a co-op has been such an amazing opportunity and has given me the chance to learn so much about industry while still being in school. While at Ford, I have completed four rotations and completed my Kettering undergraduate thesis. This rotation, I even had the opportunity to work on a new vehicle launch and travel to our Louisville plant!“

Co-op Highlight with Junior 💙

“I work for General Motors while pursuing a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my time at Kettering I have completed 4 very different experiences within the company: Fuel Cell research lab, Flint Engine Operations, the Milford Proving Grounds, and the Global Technical Center. I have learned many skills, and built a strong resume already. For this term specifically, I am serving as a Design Release Engineer for pickup boxes (truck beds). This rotation specifically has allowed me to gain experience in benchmarking, 3D design, data studies, and most importantly communication. Whether it be with other team members, groups, or suppliers, I have furthered problem solving skills while contributing to real projects! I love this rotation and the opportunities I am continuing to have!”
