Powers Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational high school located in Flint, Michigan. Nevaeh Sanders, Powers Catholic Class of 2020, shares his story behind his journey, from finding his way to Powers to overcoming countless obstacles on his path to playing Division I football at Mississippi State and pursuing his goals in the football industry.

Nevaeh opens up about the setbacks, the people who doubted him, and the challenges he had to overcome to get where he is today. Most importantly, he shares how his time at Powers helped shape the beginning of that journey.

The PCHS Girls Golf team hosted 11 Powers staff members to play in our 1st Annual Staff Fun Round at Swartz Creek Golf Course!💙🧡

The teams of Mr. Kovel and McKenna Kelly & Mr. Perry and Laney Applegate tied with an impressive combined score of 77. Each hole had a different challenge, and some of the favorites were the 2 clubs + putter-only and the staff/player alternating shots. After the round, the staff and players enjoyed pizza, pop, and fellowship. What an amazing start to the season. Go Chargers!⚡

We are proud to highlight alumni Kobey Beauchamp, a 2019 graduate of Powers Catholic High School, who has built an outstanding career in fine art photography as well as making magic for people all over the world!💙🧡

Kobey earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arizona State University with a minor in Film Studies. Today, he works as an Attractions Host at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, where he helps create magical experiences for guests in Tomorrowland at the historic Space Mountain.

Kobey is also a familiar face in the Powers community through his incredible work as a photographer. He has captured countless Powers events, weddings (including those of fellow alumni), and senior portraits. Continuing to share his talents with the community that helped shape him.

Kobey remains closely connected to Powers and proudly carries the Beauchamp legacy, with more than 20 family members having graduated from Powers Catholic!

We are so proud to see all that Kobey has accomplished and the ways he continues to share his talents with others. Thank you, Kobey, for all that you do and for always staying connected to your Powers family!
