Our Transitions students had an unforgettable experience at the America's Beauty Show in Chicago! From exploring the latest beauty trends and learning from industry professionals, to networking and gathering inspiration, this trip was filled with opportunity and excitement.

We were also fortunate to stay at the beautiful Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile, which made the experience even more special. Students enjoyed taking in the vibrant energy, stunning architecture, and beauty of downtown Chicago while building memories together outside the classroom.

Our resident nail instructor, Tajuana, is sharing her expertise with our cosmetology students. Recent changes to the state board practical exam now include a nail extension with a form. This is just one of the many ways we set Transitions students up for success.

This past Saturday, they chose to give their time and talents to support the amazing students of The Scholars Etiquette and Self-Image Institute (TSESII). From hairstyling and manicures to makeup applications, they helped each participant look and feel their very best.

More importantly, they brought confidence, encouragement, and positivity to every interaction. Moments like these are what the beauty industry is all about—using your skills to uplift others.
