Mott Bears Hockey

The Bears will have at least 3 more games this year! The first 2 will be 2-25 at Gladwin at 4 p.m and the next day on 2-26 at Mt. Pleasant at 3 p.m. The last home game for the Bears this year will be March 10th at a time to be determined. All 3 games will be against the MMCC Lakers. The Bears are currently 2-0 in their inaugural season with wins over MMCC 8-5 in the first game and 15-4 in the next. Point Leaders this year are Brett Kovel, Nick Karstens, and John Tallieu.

Okay boys and girls were trying to get shirts.... we can do nick name or name on back and # I dont know cost cause it depends on how many we get. Let me know and we'll keep ya posted.

Mott Community College won their first ever collegiate game yesterday against Mid Michigan Community College by a score of 8-5. Scoring for the Bears was Nick Karstens (3), Brett Kovel (1), Travis Tamez (1), Kyle Lutterloh (1), and getting the empty netter was Harry Lewis (1). Assist on the night were by Lucas Tunningley (1), Dominic Guiterez (1), Trevor Troupe (1), Brett Kovel (1), Nick Karstens (3). They next play December 2nd against MMCC in Mt. Pleasant. GO BEARS!

The Bears will be taking the ice this Friday at 7 p.m against the Mid Michigan Community College Lakers at Ice Mountain. General Admission is $5 and admission with a valid Mott Student I.D is $3

The Mott Bears recently had their tryout and expanded their roster by 11 skaters for their first college hockey game against Mid Michigan Community College on November 4th at 7 p.m.

Mott Community College Hockey is holding a try-out on Tuesday, October 25th at 8:30 p.m. All are welcomed, the cost of the tryout is $15.
